Not good at all. The food is disgusting. Shopping mall food court food is better than this gruel. The gelatinous goo that was poured over the sweet & sour chicken was cold and looked like it came from a can. A very old can. The almond chicken looked and tasted like frozen chicken nuggets that had freezer burn (same chicken nuggets as the sweet & sour chicken). It had a gelatinous "gravy" goo poured over the top. It looked and tasted more like glue than a food product. The chow mein was horrible. It had the consistency and taste of 3 day old reheated spaghetti. Nasty. The wait service was sub par. Waited 25 minutes before even acknowledged and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. There was a piece of somebodys tooth or dental crown work in the beef with broccoli. When I pointed it out to the server, she said she would go in the back and ask if it belonged to any of the cooks (Yes, she actually said that). Then came back in about 10 minutes and said no, it no belong to anyone. No apology, no offer to even take the entree off the bill. It's as if she thought I was concerned about returning it to it's rightful owner! The fried rice was just white rice fried in soy sauce. No eggs, vegetables or meat. It was stale, like it had been sitting around for a few days. It was almost laughable if I wasn't so concerned about the potential of actually getting sick. Stay away from this dump. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ever! The 25 cent Top Ramen you get at Big Lots and boil up at home is better than this poor excuse for Chinese food.

One of the only places to find duck in CDA. I also think their house chow mein is top notch. However, the last visit to the Dragonhouse, my date and I were only allowed to order to go at 8:45 pm. So my recommendation is to go early or for the Dragonhouse to expand their staff to serve a bit later, especially in the summer. Also, when I go out for Chinese, I enjoy the tea. While waiting for my to go option food, getting served tea was difficult. I had to ask for refills as the cups are small and I was not given a full pot. There were two other tables in the restaurant receiving full service and we got our food before either table left. We ordered appetizers and could of at least enjoyed the tea and apps before leaving the restaurant for them to close early. The bill was $50. Food was good and We had leftovers.

Worst chinese restaurant anywhere! Do not recommend, even if the food was free! My "chow mein" was spaghetti noodles with garlic flavor and a tiny sliver of pork. The "almond chicken" was poorly breaded and basically salty gravy. The orange chicken was just ok. The waitress was not friendly and didn't care to find out why we left 3/4 of our plates full of food.

THIS IS THE WORST CHINESE RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER TRIED. I passed by there while on a road trip. I was right to be skeptical. I am so applauded by the quality of the food. The people working there know exactly what they are serving but don't care because the people in town don't know any better.

This is by far the best quality Chinese food around! I ate there for the first time tonight and the atmosphere great and the food is the freshest Chinese food I have ever had. Do not pass up this opportunity to eat here, you will not regret it!

I used to have to drive all the way to Peking Palace in Spokane to get good Hot and Sour soup. I went back to Dragon House after the remodel and now it is a weekly occurrence. The soup and spicy crispy chicken is great!! I have not ordered anything I do not like.

I love this place. The prices are decent, the servings are large, and they've just remodeled so the place is gorgeous. The service is fast and cheerful. I don't particularly like their almond chicken (it's a bit like gravy and meat) but everything else I've had has been very yummy.

Worst Chinese food ever, ordered the pork chow mien and pretty much got celery and clear gravy. Also got fried prawns that were still doughy inside. My order was to go so I asked if it had soy sauce and got a yes. Or course it didn't. A can of La Choy would have been better. Steer clear of this place.

I love this place! I love the new update of the building. I love the food. The waitresses are nice and make sure our cups are always full and we are always happy! One of the waitresses know that when my brother is here, to leave the pitcher. :)

If I could put less than one star I would. This place was horrible!!!! My wife got the almond chicken and I think there was brown gravy on it. My chow mien was cold ramen I think. This place was just horrible.

i knew i was in trouble when i showed up just after noon and there was 1 car in the parking lot. today was my first time back since they remodeled. it looks nice inside at least. too bad they seem to have spent the food budget on the remodel. the food was not nearly as good as it has been before. waitress was almost happy to be there and the level of service i got reflected that. $13 for a combo meal with very small portions and chow mein that was easily 95% noodles. not impressed at all.

We ordered the "Special" fried rice and it was awful, obviously dry and having been sitting in the pot way too long! For the price and what was supposed to be included, I was disappointed to get three TINY shrimp in a large plate of rice. This went in the garbage right away. The almond chicken was bland and tasteless, and almond chicken happens to be one of my favorite dishes! :( Overall everything was a bit gross, and neither of my friends enjoyed the experience either. I guess I'll have to drive to Spokane for decent Chinese!

That was NOT Chinese food! The almond chicken tasted like mashed potatoes and gravy. The sweet and sour pork tasted like some sort of childhood dish I barely remember, swimming in this kind of like syrupy jelly sauce. It was absolutely disgusting. Everything was deep-fried, and vegetables were nonexistent. The only thing that made me feel more sick than the food, was our bill. We had the family special for three and three beers. Over 60 bucks? Are you kidding me? I immediately ran to the store to buy some Rolaids...

Not fancy just good comfort "Chinese food". I stop at Dragon House whenever I'm in CDA and want Chinese. I like it because it's the same Americanized Chinese food I grew up on. If your idea of Chinese is some PF Changs kind of dish you probably won't be happy. If you are like me and love all the brown menu items, then this is your place. Building is a little run down, but food and service are great.

I stopped by Dragon House one night for dinner because like chocolate, Americanized Chinese food is like crack to me. After driving a good 7-8 hours from Yellowstone, I was definitely in need of some comfort and Dragon House did not disappoint. I ordered my usual sesame chicken and fried rice, which also happened to be one of the chef's specialties. It was marked as a spicy dish and while I have an overly accute sense of taste (forget an ingredient in one of my favorite dishes and I will know) I was feeling adventurous and decided to leave the dish as the chef intended. Turns out, it really wasn't spicy at all. But the overall style of the sesame chicken was different from the battered and fried nuggets in that oh so familiar sweet and tangy sauce we all love. The chicken was lightly battered and sauteed, and while it still had a sweet and tangy sauce there was a larger assortment of vegetables. A typical sesame chicken will often come with scallions or onions or maybe broccoli, but Dragon House's sesame chicken came with baby corn (cha-ching!), water chestnuts (cha-ching!) in addition to a few other vegetables. I loved the flavor and devoured the whole thing (I may have skipped lunch that day though). Service was lovely, although the restaurant was mostly empty since it was kind of a quasi-late run (circa 9pm). Just a good, solid, comfortable dining experience with a new twist on an old favorite. I left full and happy.

Very bland food. Almond chicken comes with a thick gelatinous tasteless gravy on top. Lunch specials come on a small side plate. Very small portion and in my opinion over priced. Just no flavor.

I believe those were lima beans in with my cashew chicken?

By far the best Chinese food in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Not the usual fair out of a can. Coming from Northern California, I have had a hard time finding good Chinese here. But this is a good place with nice service.

Good Chinese food, everyone in the family was very happy with it. Not much for atmosphere though.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
